How long can I hire the inflatables for?

The hire of an inflatable is for a 5 hours period but longer periods of time are available for an additional cost, over night is an additional £30.

Where do you deliver?

Within a 10 mile radius of Strood is free, a small fee will be charged for castles hired further than this of £5 per 10 miles.

How long will it take to set up?

Set up times usually vary between 10-15 minutes but will depend on the surface and inflatable hired. It will normally take between 15-20 minutes to deflate and pack away each inflatable unit.

What should I do before you arrive?

Our bouncy castle are delivered on a sack barrow so we need clear access for this (at least 3ft). Make sure paths and access to your garden are free of obstacles. You should also check that the area is free of debris, and clear up after any animals that you have had in your garden. If you require an extension lead these are available at a small additional charge.

What sort of surface do you need for the bouncy castle?
Bouncy castles, slides and our other inflatables situated outdoors need to be on a reasonably flat grassy area (slight slopes are ok), so that they can be staked down. They can't go on steep slopes or under low trees. The area needs to be completely free of any sharp stones, objects, dog mess or excessive mud. We may refuse to set up a castle if the ground is not in a suitable condition and would take too long to clear - we have other deliveries to get to.

Can I use a bouncy castle on concrete or tarmac?

we at JCK bouncy hire will not setup on concrete or tarmac as we feel there is not currently a safe and efficient way of securing the inflatables and we will not allow your child to be put into that dangerous scenario.

Can we use a bouncy castle on gravel?

We do allow our inflatables to be used on gravel i.e pea shingle drives, as long as it is loose gravel with a soft substrate i.e. dirt underneath, this is to allow the steaks to grip the ground adequately.

However we do not allow the inflatables to be used on rough or jagged gravel/stone chippings i.e. slate chippings, as these are sharp and will damage the inflatables. If you are unsure please contact us in advance and we can guide you further.

We have steps do you still deliver?

This depends on the inflatable and if it is safe for us to do so. if unsure please contact us to confirm.

My garden is on a slope can i still have one?

Yes as long as the gradient is no greater than 5%.

What size entrance do you need?

We would ideally like 3 feet wide but this is also dependant on the inflatable as some are smaller than a suitcase.

Can I book the inflatable overnight?

YES, We often deliver our inflatables overnight picking them up usually around mid-morning the following day.

Overnight inflatables hire add an extra £30 charge to the booking.

Do you have Insurance?

We have public liability insurance for 5 million pounds which would cover accidents which were our fault, such as equipment failure or failing to install a unit properly. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that there is adult supervision of the unit and equipment, and the supervision of people using it, at all times.

Are there any additional charges?

There may be a cleaning charge of £10 if the inflatable is collected in an unreasonable condition.
